13 Days Uganda & Rwanda Gorilla Trekking Safari
Day1: Arrival and transfer for Your Gorilla Trekking Safari
You will meet and greet our tour representative at Kigali International airport who will thereafter transfer you to urban city blue hotel for an overnight stay on Bed and Breakfast basis

Day2: Kigali city tour
After breakfast prepare for a city tour and visit to the genocide memorial center at Gisozi as well as the local craft markets. Rwanda is a country with a rich historical back ground of the genocide era, interesting cultural dances and traditions. After the city tour, enjoy your lunch and thereafter transfer to Lodge.

Day3: Golden Monkey tracking
After breakfast you will report to the park headquarters in Kinigi where your guide will accomplish the necessary formalities for you of allocating you a Golden monkey family to track. You will meet your ranger guide(s) for a briefing about golden monkey tracking formality and how everything will be conducted from the start to the finish point; thereafter start your golden monkey tracking experience. You may also encounter different bird species as you track the Golden Monkeys. Return afterwards for lunch at your hotel and if time allows, visit the Ibiwagu traditional village, where you will have a cultural experience with the local community who display their traditional ways of living

Day 4: Transfer to Bwindi
Take an early morning breakfast, and then transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Uganda famous home to over half of the world’s remaining population of the rare Mountain Gorillas.

Day 05: Gorilla Tracking
Take an early morning breakfast and well equipped with your packed lunch, head to the park headquarters for briefing, orientation and meeting the guides, you will then be separated into groups depending on which Gorilla group given. The guide will lead you through the gorilla paths in the thick Bwindi Impenetrable rain forests searching for gorillas. Once gorillas are tracked you will be given one-hour interaction and taking photos. After tracking depending on time you may take community walk to visit the native Batwa community and have cultural experience.

Day 06: Transfer to Ishasha sector, Queen Elizabeth National park
After breakfast, proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest to meet with the walking safaris guide to start the Bwindi forest transverse. The walk starts from Nkuringo and ends in Buhoma, you will find your car driver waiting for you. This trail offers visitors a close up experience of the natural wonders within a rain forest environment. Birds are prolific in Bwindi and your guide will point these out to you during your walk; thereafter head to the Ishasha wilderness camp, Queen Elizabeth National Park. Check in and enjoy your lunch then in the afternoon go for a sun set game drive along the Ishasha sector famous for its tree climbing lions. Enjoy a sun set game drive in search for these tree climbing lions and in the evening, return to Ishasha Jungle Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 07: Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, go for a game drive in the Park where you may see the lions, Buffalo, Elephants, Giant forest hog, Waterbucks, Bushbucks and Kobs. You may also see birds like jacana, shoebill and pelican. After lunch go for a boat ride along Kazinga channel where you may see a lot of Mammals and birds;

Day 08: From Queen Elizabeth to Kibale National Park
After breakfast, enjoy another game drive as you check out of Queen Elizabeth National park, and thereafter proceed to Kibale Forest National Park for the chimpanzee tracking experience.

Day 09: Chimpanzee Tracking
After breakfast you will go for chimpanzee trekking, during the trekking you may spot primates like white colobus monkeys, we shall visit Tinka’s home stead for African made cuisine. Later in the afternoon go for a nature walk at Bigodi sanctuary, it has fauna and flora;
Overnight at Kibale forest Camp – FB
Day10: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park
After breakfast, drive to Murchison Falls National park, the park is Uganda’s largest National Park and measures about 3840 square kilometers together with Karuma and Bugungu wildlife reserve. The vegetation of the park is savannah, riverine forest and wood land. Murchison Falls National Park is mostly known for its wildlife like giraffe, leopards, elephants, lions, Uganda kob and many others. Nocturnal species common in this area are; Spotted and Verreaux’s Owls, and a plethora of spectacular Nightjars, such as Long-tailed and Pennat-winged Nightjar, The mind-blowing Standard-winged Nightjar;

Day11: Game drive and Boat Cruise in Murchison falls
After breakfast go for a game drive, where you may see Buffaloes, Uganda kob, Elephants and many others, then return for lunch. After lunch go for a boat cruise to the bottom of the falls where you may see lots of hippos, crocodiles, elephants.

Day 12: Transfer to Kampala
After breakfast, transfer to Kampala; en route visit the Ziwa Rhino sanctuary. This is the only home for the Rhinos in the wild in Uganda. Go for a Rhino tracking experience and then proceed to Kampala and then prepare for an evening, visit the Ndere center for cultural performance and dinner.

Day 13: Transfer to Entebbe international Airport.
After breakfast you will be transferred at connivance to catch up with your out bound flight at Entebbe International airport
