Day 2: Bwindi Gorilla Trekking Experience
on a second day of 3 Days Bwindi Gorilla Trekking Safari, start the day early (before dawn breaks) with a hearty breakfast and later join your safari guide for a drive to the park Headquarters. Before delving deep into the dense rainforest for the allocated gorilla group, first attend briefing provided by the Uganda Wildlife Authority Park Rangers then by 8:00am start the actual trek for these Great Apes. The trekking time is unpredictable but one thing to be sure of is the one hour you are provided to spend in the presence of these beautiful creatures.
In the evening, visitors enjoy a magical cultural experience in the Batwa Community/village to learn amazing cultures and ways of life that will melt their heart. Return to the lodge while reminiscing about the day’s experiences and enjoy a hot meal before falling asleep to the sweet melodies of different bird species.
Day 3: Drive back to Kampala City, then drop-off at a hotel or Airport
Your intimacy with the jungle sadly comes to an end, as you wake up early for breakfast and embark on the journey back to Kampala City. From here you will decide whether to be dropped off at the Airport for flight back home or at the Hotel. Lunch will however be en-route (preferably Mbarara or Igongo Cultural Center) and this will mark the end of your 3 Days Bwindi Gorilla Trekking Safari.
