3 Days Rwanda Gorilla Safari
The Rwanda Gorilla safari is an unforgettable one as you visit the only home of mountain gorillas in Rwanda, the mighty Volcanoes National Park. This park has five of the eight Virunga Volcanoes, which include Bisoke, Karisimbi, Muhabura, Gahinga and Sabyinyo and also known to be the home of the grave for popular researcher and primatologist, Dian Fossey.
Gorilla trekking takes about 3-5 hours in the wild but it includes an hour while in the presence of these gorillas enjoying their movements. Depending on your time in Rwanda, you have a great opportunity to explore other minor attractions in the city like Presidential Palace Museum, Kigali genocide memorial grounds among others. Day 1. Pick up from Kigali and transfer to Volcanoes National Park
On arrival, you will be picked by the driver guide our company chose to make memories with you and he will transfer you to the Volcanoes national park. Gorilla habituation started in this park by Dian Fossey, a researcher who saved a good number of mountain gorillas and ended up being murdered by unknown people.

Day 2. Gorilla tracking and hike to the Dian Fossey graveyard
The day begins with breakfast, after a wakeup call from your comfort and then transfer to park offices in Kinigi for briefing. This normally takes about 30 minutes to conduct the necessary procedures like cross-checking gorilla permits, rules and regulations to guide you while in the forest, assignment of a gorilla group to be trekked, and among others. The trek immediately starts from the office with the help of a knowledgeable park guide.

Day 3: Transfer back to Kigali and take a short city excursion
Report to the parking lot after breakfast for check out. The driver-guide will drive to Kigali city and if time allows, you will take a city excursion where you will visit places like the Presidential Palace Museum, local markets to be able to purchase some souvenirs and visit the mighty Rwanda genocide memorial center to learn about the country’s dark history.
