5 Days Gorilla Rwanda Wildlife Safaris

Day 01: Arrive at Kigali for Rwanda Wildlife Safaris

On arrival to Kigali, we will welcome you and be transferred to a hotel in Kigali. Depending on client’s budget and choice, you will be transferred to the hotel for your overnight stay (Bed and breakfast)

Day 02: Akagera National Park

Before being transferred to Akagera National park, you will have a city tour in Kigali where you will visit different genocide memorial sites and the craft markets. Kigali city has got rich historical and traditional information that will make your safari more rewarding. You will be transferred to Akagera National park for an overnight stay at Akagera Game Lodge (Full Board)

Day 03: Game drives and boat cruise 

This day will be for game viewing in the park. you will have an opportunity to see to see over 12 species of antelopes, over 525 species of birds including the rare one called the shoe bill stock, papyrus gynolek and the big 5 i.e. Lion, Leopard, Rhino, Buffalo and Elephant may also be spotted. You will have two separate game drives in the morning and in the afternoon. Dinner and an overnight stay at Akagera game Lodge.

Day 04: Transfer to Volcanoes national park, evening cultural experience.

After breakfast on this Rwanda Wildlife Safaris , you will be transferred to the home of the rare mountain Gorillas, Volcanoes National park. This park is a home to the rare mountain gorillas and is well known for the best experiences clients experience when they visit the park. Upon arrival, you will check in at Villa Gorilla Lodge and in the evening, you will have an excursion to the traditional Iby’Iwachu local communities for a cultural experience. Dinner and an overnight stay at Villa Gorilla Lodge

Day 04: Gorilla trekking at Volcanoes NP

In the morning, have breakfast in the park and setoff for a memorable experience with the gorillas. You will have ranger guides to lead you into the forest for your Gorilla tracking experience. Other primates and bird species may also be spotted. You will have an opportunity to take pictures and videos of these Gorillas. An overnight stay will be at Villa Gorilla (full Board)

Day 05: return to Kigali and transfer

This day you will prepare to be transferred to Kigali for your international flight marking the end of your Rwanda Wildlife Safaris
