Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport and drive to Arusha Town

Your 7 days Remarkable Tanzania Safari officially starts on this day. On jetting into Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be received by our safari representative and checked into a Hotel. Spend the afternoon at leisure-guided Tour to some of the attractions in the Town precinct.

Day 2: Drive to Lake Manyara National Park

Start early with breakfast and travel to the incredible Lake Manyara National Park. This Park like all the other two in this trip are found in the northern circuit and is haven to the iconic tree climbing lions that are found in only two places in the whole World (the other place being Uganda’s Queen Elizabeth National Park). The journey is filled with scenic views but behold, the real adventure begins on getting to the park gate.

Troops of yellow baboons, herds of elephants, Cape buffaloes, zebras, common warthogs and even the beautiful pink flamingos will be seen while driving towards the booked place of lodging. Relish the magnificent views of the Rift Valley Escarpment then settle for a hot meal at the lodge.

Continue your Lake Manyara National Park adventure in the afternoon with a proper game drive with more animals encountered.

Day 3: Continue your wildlife safari in Serengeti National Park

On your third day, exit Lake Manyara National Park with a lunch box and head towards Serengeti National Park. While exiting, some animals including the ones missed on the previous day will be spotted along the way especially the elusive leopards and tree climbing lions.

Have lunch immediately on getting to Serengeti than start the game drive while proceeding to the booked place of lodging. See lions, wildebeests, Masai giraffes, cheetahs, spotted hyenas, leopards, warthogs, lesser kudu, yellow baboons and other animals.

Day 4: Full day Serengeti National Park adventure

The fourth day of the 7 days Remarkable Tanzania Safari involves elaborately exploring Serengeti National Park, one of the most popular safari destinations in Africa. This beautiful and memorable day starts with an early morning wakeup followed by a hot cup of tea/coffee and finally the game-filled game drive, returning to the Lodge for Lunch.

You will have some time for siesta during the scotching heat of the day, but would also be the most rewarding time to watch animals as they gather around watering points. The afternoon game drive leads to other unexplored parts of the National Park, again returning by sunset in time for a well-deserved dinner and slumber. Some of the commonly-spotted animals during the morning and afternoon game drives are wildebeests, lions, cheetahs, Kobs, Impalas, gazelles, kudu, Masai giraffes, leopards, lesser kudu, spotted hyenas, African wild dogs and numerous bird species.

Day 5: Continue to the spectacular Ngorongoro Conservation Area

On your last morning in Serengeti National Park, start the game drive earlier to see more of the Park’s animals, hence enjoying last minute photography opportunities before getting back to the Lodge for brunch. Afterwards, drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area arriving late afternoon for another game drive towards the Caldera where the highest concentration of animals can be seen. Dine and slumber at one of the best Safari Lodges of your Tanzanian safari.

Day 6: Full day Ngorongoro Conservation Area safari

After breakfast, a game drive will lead you through the game-filled tracks of this popular Conservation Area, towards the Ngorongoro Crater-one of the World’s largest Calderas, where numerous animals converge for its ever luxuriant vegetation as well as constant water supply.

Interestingly, breakfast will find you in the middle of the wilderness, after which continue with the game drive. Lunch will be provided at the Lodge then head to the Masai community for another experience that words alone can’t describe.

Day 7: End of your 7 days Remarkable Tanzania Safari

A quick cup of tea/coffee then walking safari in Ngorongoro Conservation Area winds up the 7 days Remarkable Tanzania Safari, followed by a perfectly prepared brunch. Continue back to Arusha Town.
